Our History

Clémence, Founder of Asymétrio –
"After completing a DUT in Information and Communication with a specialization in Advertising in Besançon, and then a Bachelor’s degree in Business Creation and Takeover in Metz (I didn’t yet have the idea for Asymétrio, but I guess it was already somewhere in the back of my mind), I decided to go to Australia for a year on a Working Holiday Visa.

When I returned to France, I worked for two years in a digital marketing agency. Then, due to the impact of the health crisis, I was made redundant. That’s when Asymétrio was born.

How? After a short period of feeling low, I did a big clear-out of my wardrobe. Since I know how to sew, I had already redesigned many of my clothes. Then I moved on to underwear! I have always had an asymmetrical chest, without any health issues, but I could never find a bra that truly fit me.

So I thought, ‘If I’m going to pay for a bra that doesn’t fit me anyway, I might as well teach myself how to sew my own bras.’ And that’s how Asymétrio was born ♥️"

Our values

Asymétrio is the first lingerie brand to offer 441 different sizes. You shouldn’t have to contort yourself to fit into a bra — it’s the bra that should adapt to you. Choose your band size independently from your right and left cup sizes: from 80 to 120 and from A to G.

Whether you’re asymmetrical or symmetrical, have a small or large band size, a fuller or smaller bust — Asymétrio is made for all women. We are all unique, and that’s something worth celebrating. That’s why Asymétrio exists.

Our vision

My goal is for all lingerie brands to eventually adopt the same system as Asymétrio. Of course, I don’t want Asymétrio to be copied — it’s my baby, and it is unique. But the industry needs to evolve.

It’s time to put an end to:

  • Bras that hurt

  • Bras you can’t wait to take off at the end of the day

  • Paying €90 for a bra that doesn’t even fit

I want us to be the last generation to suffer from size-related insecurities.
So, who’s betting on us?
