At Asymetrio, every lingerie project is born from a deep conviction: every woman deserves to feel beautiful, supported, and confident no matter her body shape or her story. With this spirit in mind, we launched our crowdfunding campaign to create a made-to-measure, lace post-operative bra.

This project was especially close to our hearts, as it addressed a strong need expressed by many women: to have a bra that, after surgery, provides both comfort, practicality, and elegance. We wanted to design a model that opens at the front, making it easier to put on, while keeping what defines our brand: personalization, adaptation to asymmetrical busts, and the beauty of lace.

After several months of work and testing, we had to face reality: this project requires far more technical, human, and financial investment than we initially imagined. Unlike our current made-to-measure bras designed to adapt to asymmetries, the post-operative bra required very complex adjustments (front opening, reinforced seams, specific comfort), and I refuse to launch a product that isn’t 100% perfect. And then there’s another truth : I am carrying out this project almost entirely on my own. Between managing made-to-measure production, supporting clients, creating new collections, and handling communication, I have to admit it is impossible to manage everything at once.

Transparency with You

I therefore made a difficult but necessary decision : to pause the development of the post-operative bra. It is a painful choice, as I know how much anticipation it generated. But staying true to my values is essential: never offering a product for sale that does not fully meet my standards of quality and comfort.

To all those who supported the KissKissBankBank campaign: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust, your encouragement, and your messages have been an invaluable source of strength. I have personally updated each contributor, because your support is precious and I want to be completely transparent with you.

What’s Next ?

Putting this project on hold does not mean abandoning it. It means taking the time to find the right partners, the right production methods, and the right solutions. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but I keep this idea alive, because I know how important it is.

In the meantime, the Asymetrio journey continues.
