However, despite all our efforts to overcome these obstacles, administrative complications often slowed down the process, creating frustration but also unshakeable resilience.
The Commercial Lease Challenge
Another major obstacle was managing the commercial lease. Signing a lease is not a mere formality; it's a crucial step that can determine the success or failure of a project. I learned the hard way the importance of reading each clause carefully, understanding the implications of additional charges such as electricity and water, and negotiating terms to avoid unpleasant surprises. Despite financial assistance and support from the city, complications arose when the lease was signed. The conditions initially promised were not met, resulting in additional costs and unforeseen delays. This situation was a difficult moment of reflection, but it ultimately led me to an essential decision: not to sign the final lease. This decision, although disappointing in the short term, was a blessing in disguise. It enabled me to redirect my efforts towards online development, a strategic pivot that proved to be key to Asymétrio's growth.
